Barça steal Mourinho's show
ok so last night leonel Messi displayed some miracle work and shredded the all mighty Real Madrid FC which was great to watch for the neutral fan,but anyone with a football brain would realise that Barcelona are slowly turning football into something negative, its sad that a team can pass the ball 500 times between them but at the end of the 90minutes only yeild two goals, which didnt come from passing, but rather just magical play from the heaven sent Lionel ''God'' Messi,i still truelly believe Barcelona havnt been tested this season, please correct me if im wrong, this is a blog after all,but playing a Madrid side with a new coach and...not one not two not three but four new players in the squad would be a disadvantage, its very unlikely that Madrid will return from this loss so i think its safe to say its Manchester United Vs Barcelona in the final...and how do you think that will end up...i dare you to challenge my football views!...enjoy!

Jose vs. Pep
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has launched an astonishing attack on Real Madrid rival Jose Mourinho ahead of their UEFA Champions League showdown.
The bitter Spanish rivals are gearing up for the latest instalment in their El Clasico series with a place in the final of Europe's premier club competition at stake.
Speaking at Real's press conference earlier on Tuesday, Mourinho hit out at Guardiola regarding comments the Barca coach was supposed to have made about certain refereeing decisions.
Mourinho, referring to an example following last week's Copa del Rey final between the duo regarding a disallowed Pedro Rodriguez goal for offside, said Guardiola had created a new group that criticises officials when they make correct decisions.
"Up until now we've had two groups of coaches," said the Portuguese.
"[There's] a very small group who didn't talk about referees. Then there's a larger group, of which I'm included, of coaches that criticises referees when they make big mistakes."And with Pep's statements we've come to a third group, which is a one person group, who criticises good decisions made by the referee. I've never seen this before."

The man
Guardiola refused to take the comments lying down, though, and launched an angry response during his press conference later that evening, taking the bait laid out by Mourinho in spectacular fashion. The Barca coach said: "Wednesday at 8.45 we will meet each other on the pitch. Off the pitch he has already won.
"In this room (press room), he's the f****** chief, the f****** man, the person who knows everything about the world and I don't want to compete with him at all.
"It's a type of game I'm not going to play because I don't know how.
"I won't justify my words. I congratulated Madrid for the cup that they won deservedly on the pitch and against a team that I represent and of which I feel very proud."

Motivated
He added: "Off the pitch, he has already won, as he has done all year."On the pitch, we'll see what happens."
Guardiola continued: "If you think that his allegation that I always complain about the referees is true after you've all heard from me over the last three years, well there's nothing I can do. Off the pitch there's nothing we can do to fight that."
Although Guardiola seemed to have been ruffled by Mourinho's apparent mind games, the Barca coach insisted his players would not be affected by all this.
He said: "Do you think the players will run more because I've spoken to Jose through the cameras? It's the Champions League semi-finals. The players won't be motivated by this, they know what I think about everything associated with this game."

On the back of Fulham's fantastic season, Clint Dempsey heads to South Africa in even greater spirits in the knowledge he's been selected alongside his beautiful wife Bethany to represent USA at the Stag & Wag World Cup. Versatile Clint has long-since been established as a Craven Cottage favourite but his fairer half is a relative newcomer on the scene. Indeed, had she not posed in a recent Sports Illustrated with just body paint preserving her modesty we would be none the wiser to her existence either.
Abbey Clancy - Peter Crouch (4 World Cup Appearances for England)
Abbey became a full fledged Wag at the 2006 World Cup where the spotlight shone brightly on the England team both on and off the pitch. A brief separation for the pair followed but we can confirm the two are firmly back together. They announced their engagement on July 15th 2009 after returning from a romantic holiday in Sardinia.
Liverpool's latest Italian import is seeing the 20-year-old Italian actress Michela [deep breath] Quattro-cioc-che? The midfielder may not have made a World Cup finals appearance as yet, but - injury permitting - is sure to feature in South Africa.
Sylvie van der Vaart - Rafael van der Vaart (3 World Cup Appearances for Holland)
Dutch model, actress and presenter is the wife of Real Madrid's Rafael van der Vaart. The couple are essentially Holland's answer to Posh and Becks, with a slightly more attractive Posh in my opinion. The multi-talented wife and mother of one is currently battling breast cancer for which we hope she fully recovers.
Italian TV host Elisabetta Canalis featured in the film Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo but before you rush out and buy that on Blu-ray, you should also know that she is currently single and only had a brief fling with Italy's 2002 World Cup star Christian Vieri.
Caroline Luel-Brockdorff - Nicklas Bendtner (0 World Cup appearances for Denmark) It's fair to say Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, 21, is not averse to making the headlines, and now he's gone and bagged himself a cougar. The Wag phenomenon has long-since been accused of encouraging gold-diggers to ensnare footballers rich in the pocket but poor in the grey matter department, but we think the sturdy Dane is pretty safe with Luel-Brockdorff: she's absolutely minted. Oh, and a member of the Danish Royal family.
Alena is a Czech-born model who has represented her country at Miss World competitions and her husband Gianluigi Buffon is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world. The Italian shot stopper not only has a gorgeous wife but is also approaching a century of caps for his country.
Raica Oliveira - Ronaldo (19 World Cup Appearances for Brazil)
It maybe hard to believe now but not so long ago the name Ronaldo was associated with a fast, strong and skilful Brazilian striker who found the back of the net every time he took to the field. As we know from the most recent incarnation of the name, with that kind of combination comes the ladies and the now rather porky Ronaldo was once dating Raica Oliveira, a Brazilian model and TV presenter.
The 27-year-old Kaka married his 18-year-old childhood sweetheart Caroline Celico in 2005, you do the maths! The two met in 2001 while Celico was a student and Kaka was in his early playing day at Sao Paulo. Cute couple of the decade award goes to...
Helen Svedin - Luis Figo (10 World Cup Appearances for Portugal)
The Swedish super model wife of Portuguese legend Luis Figo is the face of H&M clothes store. The couple have three daughters Daniela, Martina and Stella with another child on the way, they currently reside in Milan where Figo plays football for Inter.
UEFA Champions League Run In ...
As we are down to the last 4 teams in Europe and a very exciting looking final , who ever is in it , I thought it would be fitting to start off my blogging exploits with the Champions League run in ...
Firstly looking at the semi-final tie between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona .
I think we can all agree that the fact of 5 El Clasico's in one season can be a little taxing on fans , especially for supporters of the two spanish giants , but for some reason I feel that this still hasn't taken anything away from such an enormous rivalry . I'm not sure if its the fact that in Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo , Barca and Madrid have two players who are arguably the best of all time , or the fact that 8 of the 11 players featured in FIFA's team of the year will be involved in this encounter . It may even just be the History of the two clubs and their fierce rivalry , but one thing is for certain , this tie will be mercurial.
Next we have 3 time European champions Manchester United taking on German side Schalke 04 , who de throned current holders Inter Milan with a resounding 7-4 aggregate scoreline .
After last nights destruction of the Germans by Manchester United ended only 2-0 after a superb individual performance from young goalkeeper Manuel Neuer , I really can't see Schalke having any chance of getting through, especially with a second leg at Old Trafford where United have only dropped two points in the league this season.
I personally predict a Barcelona - United final.
